If you have any concerns about your health or are in need of assistance your first contact should always be your General Practitioner. Your General Practitioner will assess your needs and decide what treatment is best.
If you are currently under the care of a Consultant Psychiatrist you could also contact them to make an appointment and/or decide on a crisis plan.
If you do not currently have a treating Consultant Psychiatrist and your General Practitioner decides you need treatment then a referral can be made for a first available appointment for an assessment with a Consultant Psychiatrist within one of the medical suites at Perth Clinic.
If your General Practitioner decides that an inpatient admission is needed to Perth Clinic, your General Practitioner can contact the clinic on your behalf (by phone) and discuss how to refer for admission.
If you are in crisis and need urgent assistance and you are unable to contact your GP then you should present to the nearest emergency department for immediate assistance.
