Our daypatients are offered the full range of treatment programs that Perth Clinic has to offer on a daypatient basis. That means that patients can attend for a day of therapy, returning home for the evening. The number of days the patient attends is dictated by the program and the individual treatment plan their Psychiatrist has recommended.
The patient is able to attend for a few days a week, providing some flexibility to arrange other life activities while still obtaining assistance in their treatment.
As other patients may find the transition back to the home difficult, a number of planned daypatient appointments can help generalise new skills back to the normal daily environment.
Perth Clinic is always there to accommodate, whatever your situation, we will try our best to meet your needs as your health is our number one priority.
As a daypatient, you will attend group or individual therapy sessions with a therapist. On your arrival each morning, you will be asked to sign in prior to the session. You will be shown where to go and oriented to all the necessary amenities. Morning tea and lunch are provided for you.
A range of evening programs is offered to suit people who find it difficult to attend during the day. These include Evening Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Program, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Adolescent Program.
