Dr Babangida Tiyatiye is a specialist in general adult and addiction psychiatry. He provides inpatient and outpatient services which include holistic management of substance use disorders and non-substance use disorder, psychiatric diagnosis, he offers individualised psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, functional restoration, and neuro-stimulation. Dr Tiyatiye is happy to accept referrals pertaining to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders and psychotic Disorders, Depressive and Bipolar Disorders, and Trauma-related Disorders (Adjustment Disorders, Grief and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). His interests also extend to Pathological Gambling and Neuro-stimulation. He is also able to admit patients for substance detoxification and rationalisation of medication regimes. He obtained his general adult and addiction psychiatry fellowship and trained at several New South Wales Hospitals and Justice health New South Wales. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, with an advanced certificate in general adult psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. He has worked across public and private hospitals in Australia. His strengths include the ability to develop a strong therapeutic alliance whilst implementing evidence based biological and psychotherapeutic treatment strategies carefully tailored to everyone.
